Description

Hunter’s Ridge is a three-level craftsman home with four bedrooms, five and two-half baths, 4 garage bays, and space for a future guest or mother-in-law suite. The possibilities are endless in this gorgeous home that features countless custom details. The covered front porch wraps around to the perfect spot for a hanging swing. The foyer entry is open to the dining room, and shows off the large open concept kitchen and family room beyond. From the dining room, French doors offer access to the front porch. The large kitchen island overlooks the breakfast area and the family room fireplace, flanked by built ins. The dining room and breakfast area are connected by a walk-through bar with access to enclosed wine storage. An appliance closet off the kitchen has a sink and hidden entry, and the pantry is found through a pocket door within this convenient space. The family room opens through sliding doors to the large covered outdoor living room and kitchen. With a fireplace, room for multiple seating areas, and a spacious all-weather kitchen, this area increases the potential for entertaining and relaxing exponentially. Beyond the kitchen, stairs to the basement are open to below, and a powder room is located just before the potential future space. This can be optionally built out to include a private guest suite that includes a bonus room, bedroom, walk-in closet, and full bath. At the front of the home, a friend’s entry adjacent to the main-level two-car garage opens to a spot with a built-in desk. A mud bench and powder room are conveniently placed between the friend’s entry and the garage. The master suite sits at the rear of the home, with dual vanities, a separate walk-in shower and soaking tub, private toilet, and spacious his and hers closets. Her closet boasts an island and a spot for an extra washer and dryer.

Stairs to the second level are just off of the family room, and open to a hallway featuring built-in bookcases, a window seat, a storage closet, and a laundry room. Three upstairs bedrooms each have a full bath, walk in closet, and custom built-in details.

In the basement, a spacious rec room greets your friends and family. Another perfect area for entertaining, the lower level has a kitchenette, full bath, and access to a large covered porch with a fireplace and ample room for seating. Additionally, the basement has an office, a room just for dogs, an exercise room, storage areas, and access to an oversized two-car garage with golf cart parking.

We’d love to modify our plan to meet your needs. Many of our plans already include future expandable space. While it is easier to increase the square footage of a plan than it is to eliminate square footage, some of our plans can be made smaller. Contact us with your request and for a quote for these changes. Personalize this Plan →

Yes, we can flip the plan to meet your needs. For example, if the plan has the garage on the right side, but you need the garage on the left, we can reverse it.

Building costs vary greatly by region. We suggest consulting with a local builder to provide a building cost estimate.

What's Not Included

Architectural and Engineering stamps

Some cities and states require a licensed architect or engineer to review and stamp a set of Construction Documents. If your local building department requires one, you will need to engage a local architect or engineer for review and stamping.

Site-specific foundation plan

The included foundation plan is meant to serve as a basic guide for a typical foundation and is not site or location-specific. Sailer Design LLC recommends that you have a local designer or licensed engineer to review the plans and provide a site-specific foundation plan as necessary.

Heating, plumbing and electrical plans

Due to variations in climate and building codes, these should be supplied by local contractors. We suggest you have a local electrical engineer, mechanical engineer, or builder provide these drawings as required for permits and construction.

Material quantity list

Once your personal selections are made (types of windows, doors, exterior materials, etc…) this list should be obtained from your contractor or local building materials supplier.

Material selections

Final material selections are the responsibility of you and your builder, including proper installation.

Construction Documents

Our home plan packages offer a complete design of our homes. However, due to the uniqueness of each building site, our Construction Documents are not fully engineered to meet the requirements of each local building code, specific regional conditions, and individual building site. The plans are intended to indicate design intent and basic construction detailing. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have obtained the proper professional assistance to provide standard construction details and practices, which will result in a structurally sound and weatherproofed finished product. Variations in standard sizes (i.e. windows and doors), thicknesses, types and uses of different materials can change details. Local codes, ordinances, regulations, foundation requirements, and the layout of mechanical, electrical and plumbing may also require changes to the details.
